Outstanding manufacturing, parts fit and prefabrication allow the
Performance Series Edge 540 to be flight ready in about 20-25 hours.
Sheeted foam core construction gives the turtledeck
exceptional strength while adding minimal weight.
The beautifully molded fiberglass cowl and wheel pants are expertly
painted to match the trim scheme.
Easy to see in any attitude, the Edge 540
trim scheme is simple yet attractive.
Three different options are available for powering your Edge 540:
glow, gasoline or brushless electric. The highest recommended
power option within the specified ranges for each will deliver
exceptional 3D flight performance.
Composite landing gear evenly distributes landing stresses, with a
flowing shape that enhances the plane's overall appearance.
Each aileron is controlled by an individual servo. Short, direct linkages
make roll control precise, positive, dependable and easy to set up.
Large control surfaces and full deflection throws enable the Edge
540 to react quickly to 3D control inputs.
The rudder and each elevator half utilize independent servos for
consistent yaw and pitch control. Servos can be mounted in the
fuselage for a lightweight pull-pull setup, or in the tail for a shorter,
more direct linkage.
Knife edge, high alpha, inverted, upright...these and any other extreme
maneuvers you can think of are at your command with this exciting aerobat!
---Designed to be both lightweight and durable.
